This is the cheapest meal I've ever made! It's one for the desperate end of term, loan running out, social to run to type of day.
I use ingredients from tesco so prices are as follows:
Basic pork sausages - 66p
Closed cup mushrooms - 90p (you only need half)
Basics rice - about 40p?
Basics BBQ sauce (the squeeze bottle) - 45p
Boil the rice
Fry the sausages
Add the mushrooms to fry
Squeeze over bbq sauce, as much as you like depending on how saucy you want it
Serve on a plate
Drain rice
Add bbq sauce, stir
Add to plate
Done!!
