Cheese & Basil Tortilla's

A really quick yummy Snack/Quick Lunch



  • Tortilla's (at least 2)
  • Cheese (a fancy flavoured cheese such as Gruyere/Emmental is best)
  • Fresh Basil


~ Slice up or grate the cheese

~ Heat up a wide based frying pan. If using a non-stick pan - there's no need to use oil :)

~ Place a tortilla in the bottom of the pan and spread the cheese over the entire tortilla - leaving a small gap around the outside.

~ Sprinkle a few basil leaves over the cheese and place the other tortilla on top and press down with a fish slice.

~ After roughly 2 minutes, try your best to flip the tortilla as one. This can be awkard so don't be worried to use your fingers :D

~ Leave on the second side for roughly 1 minute just to ensure the cheese has melted, then remove from the heat and slice up however you want - my personnal favourite is like a pizza ^_^
