Jam Drop Biscuits

Very simple!



  • (if you don't have measuring cups, just use a large coffee cup)
  • 2 cups of self raising flour
  • 3/4 cup of margerine
  • 3/4 cup of caster sugar
  • Jam
  • Also very good with nutella or lemon curd, if you don't want to use jam.


Preheat your oven to 180 degrees.

Rub the flour and margerine together in a large bowl until it resembles breadcrumbs. stir in the sugar. Add a few tablespoons of milk and bring together until it forms a dough. Pull off small chunks, roll into balls and flatten. Make a well in the middle of each biscuit, using your thumb. Fill with jam. Bake for around 15 minutes, or until slightly golden.
