Tasty Quick Cous Cous

Ingredients

  • 100g cous cous
  • 180ml boiling water
  • Chicken stock cube
  • ¾ teaspoon curry powder
  • small amount chilli powder
  • Salt and pepper
  • 2 spring onions
  • Red pepper
  • Yellow pepper
  • Cherry tomatoes 50g
  • Sultanas
  • 100g cooked chicken

Method

Pour boiling water into plastic bowl over cous cous, add in salt and pepper, chicken stock cube, chilli and curry powder and put cling film over it for 5 minutes, then chop up veggies and add into mixture, eat hot or leave to cool.

    I think it might be even nicer if you cook the the peppers before adding them, especially now in the winter.
