Batter Fried Prawn

Quick crunchy prawn

Ingredients

  • * small sized prawns, skinned and cleaned
  • * wheat flour
  • * rice flour
  • * salt and pepper
  • * egg

Method

Make a paste of this proportion:

2 tbs wheat flour

2 tbs rice flour

1 egg

season with salt and pepper to liking

it should form consistency similar to pancake batter

adjust thickness by adding water or flour

the more rice flour, the crunchier the batter will be when fried

dip your prawns and scoop batter to heated oil in groups of 3-5 prawns per scoop

fry until golden brown
