A twist on poppers and french toast.

  • (for one sandwich)
  • 1 - jalapeno
  • 1 - cream cheese spread(philadelphia)
  • 2 - slices of bread
  • 3 - strips of bacon
  • 2 - eggs

1 - cut the jalapeno into strips length wise.

2 - beat the eggs in a large dish(big enough to coat the bread.

3 - cook the bacon and jalapeno strips together. Keep the pan warm (i used the grease from the bacon later on, you can drain it and use oil or whatever)

4 - separate the bacon from the jalapeno and crush up the bacon into small bits. Put the bits onto a plate.

5 - spread the cream cheese on each slice of bread, evenly place strips of jalapenos on one slice and cover with shredded cheese and complete the sandwich with the other slice.

6 - coat the sandwich in egg, make sure to keep the sandwich together.

7 - place the egg covered sandwich into the bacon bits and coat each side of the sandwich.

8 - put the sandwich in the pan and cook on medium for about 5mins on each side - or until bread is golden. Let stand for 2mins and enjoy.
