Indian Egg Won Ton

A simple,easy and tasty won ton



  • For the filling :
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 green chilly (chopped)
  • 1 tomato (finely chopped)
  • 2 to 3 curry leaves
  • 1 onion (chopped)
  • salt and pepper - seasoning
  • for the won ton :
  • 1 slice of cheese
  • for the sauce (optional)
  • tomato sauce


First,pour the eggs in a pan with oil and scramble it.

add the tomatoes, onions and curry leaves and fry it until cooked.Add salt and pepper. Keep it aside.

take the slice of cheese and place the filling and fold it into a won ton ( put the filling in the centre of the cheese and fold the corners of the cheese inwards and stick it ).Cover the won ton with tomato sauce if desired.

    Wontons are chinese, not indian. I believe you are thinking of samosas, which are indian and are somewhat similar to wontons. Even so, these are not samosas either, so please do not call them as such.

    Wontons are chinese, not indian. I believe you mean samosas, in which case these still are not samosas.
