Place the pan of 400 mls of boiling in a pan over a high heat add the salt and heat for 2 minutes, add the eggs and boil for; 6 minutes for a soft egg and 8 minutes for a hard boiled egg. After boiling drain and place straight into a bowl of the 300 mls of cold water with the ice cubes and leave for 5 minutes. Drain, peel and serve. Perfect every time.
