Secret Cake Recipe

Soft fluffy cakes



  • Makes 24!
  • You will need:
  • 12oz of self raising flour, if you dont have any, plain flour will do.
  • 10oz of butter or marg.
  • 10oz of sugar, it doesnt matter what type, but caster is the best.
  • 5 medium eggs
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
  • Some drops of vanilla essence if you have any.
  • Equipment:
  • Oven
  • Cake or muffin cases,
  • Blender,
  • Oven,
  • A sharp knife,
  • Spoon.


Put the flour, butter, sugar and baking powder in a blender and mix untill it's mixedp properly then add the eggs and vanilla essence, making sure theres no shell in the mixture.

Once smooth, put the mixture into cake or muffin cases.

Cook in the oven for 18 mins, If they're not cooked by then, carry on cooking untill they're cooked.

If you want to check if they're cooked all the way through, get a sharp knife and put through the top of the cake, when you take it out, if the cake is cooked, there should be no cooey mixtue on the knife.
