Sugar Free Brownies!

A delicious treat of chocolatey goodness with no added sugar!



  • • 150g plain flour
  • • 125g butter
  • • 3 eggs
  • • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • • 300g chocolate
  • • 100g chocolate chips


• preheat the oven to 180c and line a baking tin – i used 12x12in

• place the butter and chocolate (broken into chunks) in a bowl, and melt down, either in the microwave for 1-2 minutes or over a bubbling pan on the hob. When melted, remove from the heat and allow to cool for 2-3 minutes

• whisk together the eggs in a separate bowl

• when the chocolate mix is cool add to the eggs and mix together

• fold in the flour and cocoa powder until a nice gooey mix

• add chocolate chips if using – 100g advised, i use 50g dark and 50g white for a bit of variety!

• you can add any other ingredients if liked, nuts or raisins for example

• transfer the mix to your baking tin, and place in the oven

• leave in for 25-30 minutes, until just firm to the touch

• remove from the oven and leave to cool for 30 minutes

• cut into squares and serve! Dust with icing sugar if wanted. Plain, cream, ice cream – however you like it, just enjoy!
