preheat the oven to 180c and line a baking tin i used 12x12in
place the butter and chocolate (broken into chunks) in a bowl, and melt down, either in the microwave for 1-2 minutes or over a bubbling pan on the hob. When melted, remove from the heat and allow to cool for 2-3 minutes
whisk together the eggs in a separate bowl
when the chocolate mix is cool add to the eggs and mix together
fold in the flour and cocoa powder until a nice gooey mix
add chocolate chips if using 100g advised, i use 50g dark and 50g white for a bit of variety!
you can add any other ingredients if liked, nuts or raisins for example
transfer the mix to your baking tin, and place in the oven
leave in for 25-30 minutes, until just firm to the touch
remove from the oven and leave to cool for 30 minutes
cut into squares and serve! Dust with icing sugar if wanted. Plain, cream, ice cream however you like it, just enjoy!
