peel all veg and chop up into similar size.
chop up onion and celery
in a thick buttomed pan add a knob of butter and a tiny bit of oil add onion and celery to pan cook untill onion goes see through add all root veg and water or stock cook untill veg soft. pour into liquidiser and you can mash with potatoe masher. put back in pan and cook through adding seasoning to taste. serve with bread and butter
