Cheese And Bean Pasties

Ingredients

  • Pastry:
  • 110g flour
  • 40g butter
  • cold water to bind
  • pinch of salt
  • filling:
  • half a tin of baked beans
  • cheese
  • black pepper

Method

Preheat the oven to 190'c.

-rub the butter into the flour until it resembles breadcrumbs.

-add water a little at a time until you get a smooth pastry

-roll out to preferred size.

-add about quarter of a tin of baked beans to the pastry, add grated cheese and pepper.

-wrap up and seal the edges and then place in the fridge for about 10-15 minutes

-brush with egg and then place in the oven for about 15 minutes
