A nice way to use up the leftovers

Ingredients

  • Ingredients-
  • 1)carrots cut into long strips
  • 2)french beans cut into long pieces
  • 3)potatoes cut in the shape of french fries
  • 4)readymade indian pickle masala powder or the gravy of any spicy pickle
  • 5)mustard seeds
  • 6)asafoetida
  • 7)oil
  • 8)salt to taste

Method

-in a bowl mix the veggies with the pickle masala or gravy of any pickle.

-in a pan heat some oil.

-add some mustard seeds,asafoetida and then add the veggies and stir it well.

-cover it with a plate and add water over the plate and allow to cook for some time.

-once cooked well add some salt and stir well.

-if you wish to make it a gravy dish you can add some water to it and cook.

note-you can use any veggies you want.If you do have leftover veggies in small quantity this is a good way to use them up.Also its a nice way to use up the leftover pickles.
