Cous Cous Salad

A quick and easy meal



  • Plain cous cous
  • 1/2 125g can chickpeas
  • 1/2 125g can sweetcorn
  • 1/2 tomato
  • handful of closed cup mushrooms
  • deep bowl to serve


1) place 1 cup of cous cous into your serving bowl

2) add boiling water until it just covers the cous cous,

3) stir it all together,cover the top of the bowl and leave to 'cook' for 5 minutes

4) while the cous cous is 'cooking', finely chop and microwave together the mushrooms, tomato and chickpeas for 2 minutes

5) once the cous cous is cooked add the microwaved ingredients and mix it all together

6) add the sweet corn and enjoy
