Creamy Mashed Sweet Potato

I'm not really a fan of mashed potato, but this taste good!



  • Sweet potatoes (1 or 2, depending on how much mash you want)
  • milk
  • cream
  • butter
  • oregano
  • i find sweet potatoes difficult to cut when first peeled, so when they're starting to go soft in the pan, get a knife and cut them in half. They will cook quicker :)


-peel the potatoes

-place in a saucepan with hot water and some salt, cook until soft

-remove them from the water, and mash with as much butter, milk, cream and oregano as you like

-pop in the oven for a few minutes to roast the top, or serve straight away.
