Rice Balls

Tomato, Tuna and Herb Rice Balls

Ingredients

  • Rice, refer to package details
  • small tin of tuna
  • 3 tablespoons of tomato and herb pasta sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of garlic or 1 garlic clove
  • 2 tablespoons of margerine or butter
  • 1 teaspoon of plain flour
  • plain flour to coat balls

Method

Cook rice as directed on packet

Mix together the tomato sauce, garlic, butter, and tuna, cook on low heat, stir in tuna after a minute.

Mix in rice, stir well, add one teaspoon of flour, mix well.

allow mix to cool till warm, make into balls and coat with plain flour.

cook in frypan at low to medium heat, turn as needed.

    Its people's choices on what they eat so who are you to tell them their not vegetarian? Its personal opinion on what people deem as vegetarian... What you think is your own opinion...


    i thought this recipe was fantastic... Though i wasn't keen on it at first it tasted different from what i expected, i would gladly make this again.

    No need to call her an idiot a lot of people who are pescatarians (eat fish) call themselves vegetarians, most people who refer to themselves as vegetarians eat fish

    This was soooo yummy, loved it to bits, so easy to make.... I just cooked one cup of rice and and added the rest of the ingredients to that... then fried them up.

    Why is this in vegetarian :S It has fish in it and fish is not vegetarian.

    This does not mention how much rice is used? 1 cup uncooked rice? 1 packet of uncooked rice (250g)?nnThis sounds really tempting but really want to know the measurements.
