The summer is about to get even better. Burger King just brought in a new menu item that is perfect for the summer, and it’s only here for a limited time. Burger King introduces new BBQ Brisket Whopper to the menu on July 15.

In a press release on July 9th, the iconic fast-food name released information on their new product in hopes of “ushering in a new era of the iconic Whopper sandwich”. The idea is to bring in new whoppers created by guests, with the first one being this smoky, savory sandwich inspired by “what Whopper fanatics across the country have been asking for.”
The sandwich features slow-cooked BBQ brisket, crispy onions, American cheese, and a sweet & golden BBQ sauce, all piled on a ΒΌ lb. flame-grilled beef patty with lettuce, tomato, and creamy mayo.
But that’s not all. Burker King is also offering its new Whopper innovation as a Whopper Jr. with all the same ingredients, just for a smaller bite.
“As the brand known for ‘Have It Your Way’, we want to continue letting our Guests tell us what they want – and when it comes to our iconic Whopper sandwich, they have a lot of ideas,” said Joel Yashinsky, Chief Marketing Officer, Burger King US&C.
“We’re excited to kick off the ‘Whopper by You’ platform with the BBQ Brisket Whopper, a flavor profile that our Guests requested, and we are very excited to answer with an overwhelming ‘You Rule’!”
The program hopes to empower guests to help shape the menu at Burger King by submitting their dream sandwiches, flavors, and creations. And starting July 15, customers can pick up this delicious sandwich for a limited time at participating US restaurants, while supplies last.
