Burger King has rolled out three new limited-time summer menu items nationwide, giving customers a mix of spice, frozen orange cream, and a patriotic cookie dessert.
According to Burger King, the summer lineup includes the Loaded Jalapeño Whopper, Orange Dreamsicle Freezee King, and Firecracker Cookie Pie.
The company described the menu as a mix of “bold and nostalgic flavors,” including heat, cold foam, sprinkles, and cookie crust.
Fast food summer menus should catch your attention, as they tell you what brands think people are craving. This time, Burger King seems to be betting on spice, nostalgia, and snack-style desserts.
The new Burger King items
The Loaded Jalapeño Whopper is the biggest food item in the launch. Burger King states that “Whopper By You” is back. This guest-created sandwich is made with a 4.4-ounce flame-grilled beef patty, crispy jalapeños, pickled jalapeños, creamy jalapeño sauce, lettuce, tomato, and American cheese.
The Orange Dreamsicle Freezee King sounds like an old-school flavor combination, mixing a familiar frozen orange base with new orange cream cold foam and sprinkles. It sounds delicious and refreshing.
Last but not least, is the Firecracker Cookie Pie. As Burger King put it, the item layers cream over a crisp sugar cookie crust, then tops it with red, white, and blue star-shaped sprinkles to mark America’s 250th birthday.
A few items are sticking around
Two other limited-time items are also staying on menus for summer. Burger King reported that the Bacon Swiss BBQ Whopper will remain available, with beef, Swiss cheese, crispy pickle chips, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and creamy BBQ sauce.
Cheddar Ranch Tots are also sticking around. These crispy tots are filled with cheddar cheese, potatoes, and ranch seasoning. They’re simple, snackable, and hard to stop eating once you start.
Joel Yashinsky, Chief Marketing Officer for Burger King US&C, said “As the weather heats up, we know our Guests are craving for fun flavors that they can experience and share.”
He continued “Whether they’re looking for a full meal or a sweet or savory snack, these new limited time menu items deliver the type of innovation Guests have been asking for, and we’re continuing to listen and give them what they want.”
When and how to order
Burger King’s new summer menu started on June 2, 2026. Customers can order at participating Burger King restaurants, visit BK.com, or use the Burger King app.
Guests can also submit Whopper ideas through the “Whopper By You” platform at BK.com/WBY, though to qualify you must be a Royal Perks member, 18 or older, and be in the U.S. only.
