For any hockey or snowboarding fans looking for something a little different, Chipotle has rolled out “Team Chipotle 2026.” A lineup of athlete-inspired items available via the app or website right now. Plus, there’s a gold foil burrito wrap set for February 6.
According to Chipotle’s January 15 announcement, the team includes stars like Matthew and Brady Tkachuk, Hilary Knight, Taylor Heise, and snowboarder Red Gerard.
If you’re intrigued, check out the videos Chipotle has added to their YouTube channel, they’re linked below:
Don’t go thinking the videos are purely promotional, they’re actually focused on how each athlete reached the top of their respective sports.

The athlete-inspired options
- The Matthew Tkachuk Bowl: This option packs double chicken, brown rice, tomatillo-red chili salsa, lettuce, and light sour cream. It comes in at 67 grams of protein.
- The Brady Tkachuk Bowl: In this bowl, you’ll find half chicken, half steak, white rice, and roasted chili-corn salsa. This bowl comes in at 60 grams of protein.
- The Hilary Knight Burrito: This burrito is filled with white rice, pinto beans, tomato salsa, cheese, and guacamole. This option packs 28 grams of protein.
- The Taylor Heise Tacos: These tacos come with chicken, tomato salsa, chili-corn salsa, sour cream, cheese, and lettuce. The three tacos combined come in at 50 grams of protein.
- The Red Gerard Bowl: The third burrito bowl option on this list comes with chicken, extra white rice, tomatillo-red chili salsa, lettuce, cheese, and sour cream. This bowl contains 48 grams of protein.
Two things stand out: each option comes with protein listed, and burrito bowls dominate.
Information from Chipotle’s own promo page shows the company ran a one-day double-protein deal for Rewards members on January 13.
Source86 reported that this whole January run is leaning into high-protein eating, and that’s the part I actually relate to. Most places keep the numbers vague, so anyone trying to eat smart should appreciate the information.
What makes the gold foil different?

The gold foil wrapper isn’t new, it was used for the 2021 Tokyo Games and the 2024 Paris Olympics.
The first rollout happens on February 6, 2026, in time for the Milano Cortina 2026 Opening Ceremony.
The gold foil wrappers will only last while supplies are available. So if you want to get your hands on gold, make a note of the date.
