Chipotle is giving soccer fans a buy-one-get-one free entrée offer on June 11, 2026, as long as they show up wearing a soccer jersey after 3 p.m. local time.

The Matchday BOGO is available at participating Chipotle restaurants nationwide, according to Chipotle’s announcement through PRNewswire

According to Chipotle, the fast-food promotion is tied to this summer’s major international soccer tournament. Fans who wear a soccer jersey can buy one entrée and get another entrée free, which is a pretty easy offer to understand on the surface.

I like the simplicity of this one. It feels like the kind of old-school sports promotion people can actually remember without digging through an app for 10 minutes. However, the fine print matters.

The BOGO rules that could catch people out

Chipotle states that the Matchday BOGO is limited to five free entrée items per check and is subject to availability. Each free item also requires the purchase of an entrée of equal or greater value.

Another important detail is that the free entrée can only be collected by the guest wearing the soccer jersey. That means this is not really a “one person picks up food for everyone” type of deal if the group wants multiple free entrées.

Kids’ Meals do not count as an entrée purchase. The offer also cannot be used for catering, mobile, online, or delivery orders. In short, this is an in-restaurant offer only.

Chipotle adds a jersey giveaway

Also within the PRNewswire coverage are details on Chipotle’s first limited-edition soccer jersey. Only 53 jerseys will be available through the Chipotle Rewards Exchange for loyalty members.

The number 53 is part of the branding. Chipotle says it represents the brand’s 53 real ingredients, and the jersey features “Real Chipotle” on the front with 53 on the back.

Rewards members can exchange 10 points for a chance to win from June 10 through June 24.

Why Chipotle says it’s doing this

Stephanie Perdue, Senior Vice President of Brand Marketing at Chipotle, said, “Every four years, this tournament creates an unmatched sense of excitement, pride, and community among fans around the world.” She continued, “We wanted to celebrate the rituals that make the experience so memorable, from wearing lucky jerseys to gathering for matchday meals with Chipotle.”

How to order

Fans need to visit a participating Chipotle restaurant after 3 p.m. local time on June 11 while wearing a soccer jersey.

Orders must be placed in person, and Rewards members who scan at the register can unlock an exclusive digital badge through Chipotle’s revamped “Rewards on Repeat” program.
