Dairy Queen is rolling out two minty desserts to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. The first is a brand-new Mint Crunchin’ Cookie Dipped Cone on February 23, followed by the Mint OREO Blizzard as March’s Blizzard of the Month.

According to Dairy Queen’s newsroom:

  • Both treats will be sold for a limited time at participating locations.
  • Items can be ordered through the DQ Mobile App or online.

For anyone looking to pick up the cone on Feb. 23, note that deals tied to Rewards can take up to 24 hours to show up in the app.

The new Mint Crunchin’ Cookie Dipped Cone is a twist on DQ’s viral Crunchin’ Cookie style, but this time it’s dressed for St. Patrick’s Day. It consists of vanilla soft serve, a green mint-flavored coating, plus chocolate cookie crumbles mixed in for extra crunch.

The Mint OREO Blizzard isn’t new, just a returning item, bringing a blend of crunchy OREO pieces with crème de menthe and DQ’s soft serve. Parade reported that this is an item people keep asking to return, and Delish also highlighted how it was stepping into the official Blizzard of the Month slot for March.

For anyone unfamiliar, Dairy Queen’s Blizzard of the Month has been around since 2003. It’s the chain’s featured flavor for that calendar month and is promoted in-store and in the app. It can be a brand-new mix-in or a returning fan favorite, and it’s often tied to seasonal moments like St. Patrick’s Day.

If you want to try these items without the guesswork, the best move is checking the app or online to see if there are any participating locations near you.

For those interested in mint, Southern Living reported the Shamrock Shake is coming back to McDonald’s on February 17, along with the Oreo Shamrock McFlurry. Clearly, the mint competition among fast food chains is real over the coming weeks.
