Domino’s rolled out a new dipping sauce on April 7 and tied it to a limited Shinola watch and leather goods drop, giving buyers of two higher-end pizzas a shot at exclusive access before the collection opens.

The news was announced in the U.S., with the merchandise sale set to begin May 8.

According to Domino’s Pizza, the new item is called Slice Sauce, and it’s the fast-food chain’s first sauce made for the full slice, not just the crust.

PR Newswire states that the sauce is creamy, zesty, and has a hint of Parmesan. More importantly, Domino’s is giving it away for free with an online order of a Handmade Pan or Parmesan Stuffed Crust Pizza through June 14.

Pizza and watches

I’ll admit, this is one of those promotions that makes me stop and look twice. Pizza sauce is one thing, but a watch tie-in is another.

However, Nation’s Restaurant News reported that Domino’s is aiming this offer at people already spending a little more, the folks ordering its premium pies and maybe enjoying the idea of a black-and-gold extra on the side.

For example, the Shinola collection includes watches and leather goods with subtle Domino’s details, packed in matching black-and-gold presentation boxes. Prices start at $115 for a five-pocket card holder and climb to $1,350 for a Mechanic Watch, so this clearly isn’t a freebie tossed in with dinner.

Domino’s is also using the offer to unlock a black-and-gold version of its Tracker, adding one more layer to this promotion.

Domino's is offering customers exclusive access to a curated selection of black and gold Shinola timepieces and leather goods to celebrate the launch of its new Slice Sauce, which also comes in premium black and gold packaging.

How does the deal work?

Come May 8, shoppers who ordered a Handmade Pan or Parmesan Stuffed Crust Pizza by May 7 will get password-only access to shop the Shinola collection at a preferred rate.

You can order via the Domino’s app or at Domino’s online. Both paths unlock the free sauce offer and access to the merchandise drop.

It’s a curious mix of comfort food and upscale goods. For me, it’s a strange push, possibly one of the strangest 2026 has delivered so far. Yet, luxury items aside, the sauce is worth a look, especially as it’s a freebie.
