The iconic fast food chain is known for its delicious burgers and frozen custards. But it’s time to plan your next visit now that Freddy’s adds new menu item and brings back a classic fan-favorite.

On August 20, the fast-casual restaurant announced that it’s launching the new Smoky Bacon Cheddar Stack. The steakburger will be available August 27th through December 30th, the perfect burger for the fall season.
The cooked-to-order Smoky Bacon Cheddar Stack is made with “two hand-pressed steakburger patties topped with melted sharp cheddar cheese, four slices of crispy Applewood bacon, and grilled onions on a toasted King’s Hawaiann Bun with our new Smoky Fry Sauce,” according to the Press Release.
The Chief Marketing Officer of Freddy’s, Erin Walter, expresses her passion for the new menu item, saying, “Freddy’s newest Smoky Bacon Cheddar Stack is a delicious combination of bold, craveable flavors with crispy bacon, caramelized grilled onions, and rich cheddar cheese on top of our premium signature steakburger patties.”
“With each ingredient stacked on a soft and pillowy King’s Hawaiian bun, each bite delivers a perfectly savory taste complemented by our Smoky Fry Sauce,” she continues.
But that’s not all. Along with news that Freddy’s adds new menu item, it was announced that the store is bringing back a limited-time fan-favorite item, another perfect treat for the fall season. Back by popular demand, the Pumpkin Pie Concrete is making a return and will also be here through November 25th.
According to the Press Release, the Pumpkin Pie Concrete “is a seasonal classic made with fresh and creamy vanilla frozen custard blended with a whole slice of rich pumpkin pie, crust included, then topped with whipped cream and sprinkled with cinnamon.”
“Our Pumpkin Pie Concrete is a fan-favorite dessert that both guests and Freddy’s team members look forward to each year,” said Rick Petralia, Director of Menu Strategy & Innovation. “The concrete has hints of spices, including cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger, that make it the perfect treat to enjoy going into the fall season.”
