KFC is rolling out a new 5 for $5 Tenders deal for Rewards members in the U.S., giving fans five tenders and two dipping sauces for a limited time.
The offer was announced May 18, 2026, alongside the return of fried pickles and a new prickly pear lemonade.
A $5 deal built for dipping
According to KFC, the tenders deal is timed around basketball’s biggest moments of the season. That makes sense. Not everyone wants a giant spread for a game. Sometimes five tenders, a couple of sauces, and the couch are enough.

KFC also has a new $5 Chicken Variety Box for Rewards members. PR Newswire reported that it includes two pieces of dark meat chicken on the bone, five nuggets, one sauce, and a medium drink. Prices and participation can vary by location, so always check your app for local deals.
How to order the KFC 5 for $5 Tenders deal
Ordering this $5 deal has a catch. You need to be a KFC Rewards member, and the deal is only available through KFC.com or the KFC app at participating stores.
The terms and conditions on the PR Newswire report states that customers must redeem the offer before checkout. Taxes, tips, and fees are extra. The offer can’t be combined with other deals, has no cash value, and is limited to one per account.
KFC has not listed a firm public end date for the tenders deal. For now, it’s being promoted as a limited-time offer only.
Fried pickles are back
In the same PR Newswire coverage, KFC is also bringing back fried pickles nationwide in an eight-piece order. They come golden fried with a choice of dipping sauce, including newer options like Jalapeño Ranch and Honey Chili Crisp.
Southern Living reported that the pickles are also part of two digital-exclusive snack boxes. One pairs five nuggets with eight fried pickles and sauce. Another pairs fries with eight fried pickles and sauce.
KFC is also adding Signature Prickly Pear Lemonade for a limited time. The drink blends its Signature Lemonade with the sweet flavor of prickly pear cactus.
For anyone ordering the pickles, that sweet drink is clearly meant to balance the salty, crispy side.
