KFC’s fried pickles are back nationwide for a limited time, giving fans another chance to order the crunchy side after its debut last summer. The item is available as an eight-piece order with a choice of dipping sauce.
According to KFC via PR Newswire, the fried pickles are part of a limited-time lineup that also includes new sauce options and a Signature Prickly Pear Lemonade. Melissa Cash, CMO of KFC U.S., said “the pickle craze is here to stay,” adding that last summer’s response showed strong demand for the snack.
I’ve seen plenty of fast-food trends come and go, but pickles keep hanging around. Pickle-flavored snacks, pickle drinks, pickle everything. Delish reported the same thing, pointing to the current pickle craze before saying KFC’s classic fried pickle version is back on the menu.

The crunch KFC fans wanted back
KFC’s sliced pickles are coated, fried until crisp, and served hot with dipping sauce. They’re salty, tangy, and crunchy, which is exactly why fans keep coming back. Simple stuff, but pretty addictive, especially if you’re the type who says you’ll “just have one.”
KFC’s version comes in an eight-piece order. According to the company’s announcement, customers can choose a dipping sauce, including newer options like Jalapeño Ranch and Honey Chili Crisp. That gives the snack a little more range this time around.
How much do KFC fried pickles cost?

KFC did not list one fixed national price for the fried pickles in its announcement. The company states that prices and participation may vary, which means the final cost can depend on the restaurant, market, and order method.
That’s annoying, but not unusual. Fast-food prices are not as predictable as they used to be. Anyone who remembers dollar menus probably feels the same.
Ordering the fried pickles
Customers can order the fried pickles at participating KFC restaurants while the item is available. KFC also listed two digital-exclusive snack box options built around the fried pickles, one with nuggets and one with fries, but those are only available through KFC.com or the KFC app at participating stores.
Delish highlighted that fans have already shown excitement over the comeback, with social media reactions leaning heavily positive. One returning fan said they tried them last year and planned to get them again.
