Long John Silver’s has launched a limited-time summer menu at participating locations nationwide.
The lineup includes Coconut Shrimp, a new Citrus Honey Mustard dipping sauce, $6 Baskets, Summer Cream Sodas, and Orange Creamsicle Cheesecake.
The menu became available as part of the chain’s seasonal summer offering on June 22, 2026.
A sweet and crispy summer offer
According to Long John Silver’s, the main item is the Summer Special Platter. It includes five pieces of coconut shrimp, two pieces of fish, two sides, two hushpuppies, and the new Citrus Honey Mustard sauce. That’s a lot of food, especially for anyone who remembers when fast-food platters felt like a real treat instead of a small snack in a giant box.
Coconut shrimp is one of those items that always feels a little nostalgic. The kind of thing you’d grab after spending too long in the sun during a beach trip.

The $6 basket lineup
The budget standouts are the three $6 Basket options. Those include Fish & Shrimp, Chicken, and Chicken & Shrimp. The company said the baskets were picked to pair with the new citrus-forward dipping sauce.
Summer Cream Sodas are also part of the rollout. Guests can add sweet coconut cream to their favorite fountain drink to make one.
Long John Silver’s is also offering Orange Creamsicle Cheesecake from The Cheesecake Factory Bakery, made with sweet cream cheesecake and orange cream cheesecake on a vanilla crumb crust.
What the company said
As Long John Silver’s put it, Meredith Smith, director of brand marketing, said, “To us, summer is all about providing great flavors and refreshing treats – making the most of the season. From our returning Coconut Shrimp and new Citrus Honey Mustard dipping sauce to our $6 Basket lineup and Summer Cream Sodas, we crafted a menu that delivers that taste of summer, while offering the value our guests love.”
Smith also said the chain is keeping its $6 Basket promise all year, giving guests a choice between seafood, chicken, or both.
That’s the kind of price point that could get more people interested, especially as fast-food costs continue to spiral.

Long John Silver’s was founded in 1969. The chain is known for seafood-style fast food, especially fried fish, shrimp, chicken, hushpuppies, and sides. The company says it wants to make a seafood experience more accessible across its restaurant footprint.
Guests can try the new summer items by visiting a local participating Long John Silver’s. Orders can also be placed ahead through ljsilvers.com or the Long John Silver’s mobile app.
