McDonald’s knows how to celebrate the holidays. And for Christmas, the popular chain has released something festive for everyone. Here’s what you need to know about McDonald’s Grinch Meal.
Starting today, Tuesday, December 2nd, customers can roll on in to the closest participating McDonald’s and pick up the beloved, yet grouchy, Grinch meal.
The meal was interestingly introduced in Canada in 2024 and has thankfully migrated to the United States this year. Due to the meal’s success, it was a “no-brainer” to bring it to the U.S., according to the chief marketing and customer experience officer of McDonald’s, Alyssa Buetikofer.
The meal features a new item that will surely put everyone in good spirits: the Dill Pickle “Grinch Salt” McShaker Fries.
The special fries, which are available for the first time in the U.S., bring back the McShaker bag, which is a long-lost McDonald’s menu item.
Customers who purchase these fries will use the McShaker bag to sprinkle in dill pickle seasoning, and with a simple shake, they’re coated in the delicious flavor. The fries are also paired with a choice of either a Big Mac or 10-piece Chicken McNuggets, along with a medium drink.
With the purchase of the McDonald’s Grinch Meal, customers will also get a pair of “spirited socks” that feature a hand-scribbled message from the Grinch telling everyone how he feels about the holiday season.

SO GO AHEAD, GRAB MY MEAL STARTING DEC. 2 — YOU’RE WELCOME FOR MAKiNG YOUR HOLiDAYS iNFiNiTELY MORE iNTERESTiNG.”
