It’s finally time. The long-requested, cult favorite item is finally returning. That’s right, McDonald’s Snack Wraps are back, and this is everything we know so far about them.

“It’s back,” the company said in a two-word statement. The wrap will be finally returning to McDonald’s menus starting July 10 as the company struggles to turn around a sluggish start to the year.
The food giant removed Snack Wraps in 2016 after numerous reported complaints that the item was just too complicated to make. Even so, there were some locations that kept serving the item until 2020 when McDonald’s eliminated the item.
However, with that opening, many other competitors decided to try their hand at the wrap, including Wendy’s grilled chicken ranch wrap in 2023. But even with the copies, many fans never forgot the original Snack Wrap and stayed loyal to McDonald’s.

Interestingly enough, it wasn’t until a change.org petition was circulating did McDonald’s decided to bring the iconic item back to the menu after having almost 19,000 signatures.
With the rush of signatures, and McDonald’s seeing a sales decline for a second straight quarter, the company decided now is the perfect time to bring the cult classic back on the menu.
The wait is almost over. And the best news? It’s not a limited-time offer — it’s here to stay. Customers will finally get their Snack Wraps back, featuring the chain’s new McCrispy Strips topped with shredded lettuce and shredded cheese, wrapped in a flour tortilla.
The flavors that the McDonald’s Snack Wraps will come in include Spicy, which is described as “bold, zesty, and unapologetically fiery”, as well as Ranch, which is described as “smooth, rich, and irresistibly savory”.
We know we’ll be first in line on July 10 at our local McDonald’s to get a taste of these delicious classic wraps, and hopefully you can too!
