All About Adobo Ranch
The new Chipotle dip is a variation on the beloved ranch dressing flavor. It is seasoned with adobo pepper, sour cream, and other herbs and spices, giving the food a “craveable kick,” according to the company.
This dip will be perfect for the chain’s signature burritos, bowls, salads, tacos, and quesadillas.
Why the New Addition?
The new Chipotle dip comes after a five-year dry spell.
In 2020, the restaurant chain introduced a reformulated queso, boosting sales. This is probably part of the reason why Chipotle is releasing the Adobo Ranch, as it deals with a slowdown in consumer spending.
Chipotle isn’t the only one, as other chains are also seeing a decline in sales due to customers cutting back on visits over concerns about the economy.
Hopefully, a new sauce can spice things up for the fast food chain.

The Popularity of Ranch
Ranch is one of the signature dipping sauces amongst younger eaters, and has become present on more menus in recent years.
For instance, Taco Bell has a spicy ranch, KFC features five ranch flavors at its new Saucy concept restaurant, and Burger King has offered an 8-ounce dipping cup in the past.
Chipotle jumped on this trend, which has “become a cultural phenomenon, especially among Gen Z, who are finding creative ways to enjoy it beyond the traditional salad,” Chris Brand, the company’s president and chief brand officer, stated.
It also helps that ranch is a well-known condiment. Customers who are more familiar with ranch may be willing to try the spicier version from Chipotle, as they know what the main taste will be.
Where Can You Buy Adobo Ranch Dip?
The new Chipotle dip will be available at the restaurant’s U.S. and Canada locations. Adobo Ranch will be offered to members of its rewards program for free on launch day.
Signing up for Chipotle Rewards is easy; just make sure you sign up by 11 pm local time on Monday, June 16th, to receive a free Adobo Ranch offer on June 17th.
New members will also receive a free guacamole offer upon enrollment.
