Sonic Crispy Chicken Wraps are Now on the Menu, for Just $2

Adding to the chicken fast food craze, the fast food chain is providing not just one, but two flavors for customers to enjoy.

The best part? Sonic is offering these delicious wraps for just $1.99, beating out several other competitors’ prices and giving you a meal that doesn’t break the bank.

Sonic Crispy Chicken Wraps: The Flavors

Customers can choose from two Sonic Crispy Chicken Wrap flavors: the Cheesy Baja Crispy Tender Wrap and the Honey Chipotle Crispy Tender Wrap.

The Cheesy Baja Wrap has a breaded tender inside a flour tortilla with iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, shredded cheddar, and a “zesty” Baja sauce.

The Honey Chipotle Wrap has a breaded tender inside of a flour tortilla with lettuce, tomatoes, and cheddar, but this time garnished with a sweet and spicy honey chipotle aioli.

Each wrap costs $1.99, a great value when it comes to current fast food prices.

Sonic’s FUN.99 Menu

Both of the Sonic Crispy Chicken Wraps are part of the $1.99 menu, which the company advertises as the “FUN.99” menu. During this summer, you can enjoy a Soft Pretzel Twist, Grilled Chicken Sandwich, Original Jr. Chicken Sandwich, or a variety of small creamy slushes for just under $2.

In the past, the Oklahoma-based chain tried two other flavors of chicken tender wraps. The Hickey BBQ Crispy Tender Wrap and Cheesy Baja Crispy Tender Wraps were briefly offered last spring from March 4th to May 5th, with queso wraps joining the mix later in the summer on the FUN.99 menu. We’ll see if these new additions become a permanent staple on Sonic’s menu.

Competitors in the Chicken and Wraps Category

It’s the perfect time to be a fan of crispy chicken, as it has slowly appeared on several fast food chain menus over the years. This was prompted ever since McDonald’s discontinued their Snack Wrap.

In 2023, KFC, Wendy’s, and Burger King all released their own versions of the chicken wrap.

Now, in 2025, more chains have joined the competition. In early June, Popeyes came out with a Snack Wrap available in three flavors: Classic, Spicy, and Honey Mustard. The wrap features a tortilla inspired by the chain’s buttery biscuits.

Taco Bell aims to make its Crispy Chicken Nuggets a permanent menu fixture in 2026 after its first release in 2024.

McDonald’s may be claiming to bring back a new version of the Snack Wrap, but Sonic has beaten them to it, adding to the chicken fast food craziness.
