Taco Bell is to launch its Cantina Chicken Mexican Pizza nationwide on May 21, 2026, for a limited time at participating locations.
This new fast-food menu item brings slow-roasted Cantina Chicken to one of Taco Bell’s most familiar fan favorites, pizza.
According to Taco Bell via PR Newswire, Rewards Members can get early access through the Taco Bell app on May 19 and May 20 before the wider release. The item is listed at $6.49, though prices and participation can vary by location.

Taco Bell pizza
Taco Bell’s standard Mexican Pizza currently includes seasoned beef, beans, three-cheese blend, Mexican Pizza sauce, and tomatoes. Taco Bell’s menu describes it as seasoned beef and refried beans layered between two crispy flour tortilla shells, topped with sauce, diced tomatoes, and a blend of mozzarella, pepperjack, and cheddar cheeses.
The new pizza option adds a slow-roasted Cantina Chicken option, but it’s not the only change. Taco Bell said the new pizza layers Cantina Chicken, black beans, green chile sauce, and a three-cheese blend between crispy tortilla shells, then finishes it with shredded purple cabbage and pico de gallo.
Delish reported that the new version keeps the crispy tortilla setup people know, while adding new textures and a fresher-looking topping mix. That purple cabbage and pico de gallo combo makes it a little brighter than the classic version.
Allrecipes adds that Taco Bell is also adding a new Jalapeño Citrus Salsa packet with the release. The sauce blends red jalapeños, guajillo chiles, and citrus for a sweet-and-spicy flavor, and it will come with Cantina Chicken menu items for a limited time.
How to order
Starting May 21, customers can look for the Cantina Chicken Mexican Pizza at participating Taco Bell locations nationwide, through the app, online, or in stores while supplies last.
