Taco Bell has brought back its Crispy Chicken Nuggets, and with them comes a brand-new sauce called Hidden Valley Diablo Ranch.

Delish reported that this fan-favorite return is nationwide and comes in two options: 5-piece or 10-piece. They can also come as part of combo meals if you want a drink and fries, too.

Prices vary by location, but a 10-piece starts at $9.49 with fries and a drink. It also comes with two sauces. For those with a bit more hunger, there is also a Nugget Deluxe Combo for $11.49, which adds a Beef Chalupa Supreme and a Crunchy Taco to the deal.

For fans of Taco Bell, its crispy chicken push is nothing new. According to Taco Bell data, the company has sold over 70 million crispy chicken items since its first launch, and chicken helped the company drive 25% of new customers in 2025.

For those who don’t know, Taco Bell’s Crispy Chicken Nuggets are all-white-meat chicken with a tortilla-chip-flaked breading that adds a lot of texture and crunch. Southern Living highlights that the crunchy coating is part of what made the nuggets stand out the first time around and why fans kept asking for them after they disappeared.

What is new this time is the Hidden Valley Diablo Ranch sauce. It’s a blend of classic ranch with Taco Bell’s Diablo Sauce. According to Taco Bell, via a PR piece, the brand is leaning hard into bold heat and an unexpected twist with this new sauce.

Liz Matthews, Taco Bell’s Global Chief Food Innovation Officer, said the crispy chicken fanbase grew faster than expected and that the company is “just getting started.”

How long will they stick around?

Restaurant Dive reported that the nuggets are being brought back for a short run only. The cycle of items is meant to keep attention up. So if you want the Crispy Chicken Nuggets or the sauce, head to Taco Bell now, or you might miss out.

For anyone 50-plus who still loves fast food but is keeping an eye on blood sugar, cholesterol, or blood pressure, this is a pick-your-moment kind of order. I’m in that boat. Split the 10-piece, skip the fries, and drink water, not soda.
