Taco Bell has brought back the Triple Double Crunchwrap after the fast-food menu item has been MIA since 2019. The crunchwrap is available at participating locations nationwide for a limited time and can be picked up solo or part of a combo-style box.
Food & Wine reported that the Triple Double Crunchwrap returned to national menus in April 2026, after first debuting in 2016. The item has been one of Taco Bell’s most requested limited-time comebacks.
What’s inside the Triple Double Crunchwrap?

The Triple Double Crunchwrap is basically a bigger, stacked version of the classic Crunchwrap.
The Fast Food Post reports that it includes seasoned beef, warm nacho cheese sauce, two tostada shells, lettuce, diced tomatoes, and reduced-fat sour cream, all folded into a warm flour tortilla and grilled.
However, instead of one crunchy tostada layer, this version uses two. Food & Wine adds that Taco Bell builds it with extra layers of beef, nacho cheese, and crunchy tostadas.
Further information from the Fast Food Post shows the Triple Double Crunchwrap has 700 calories, 29 grams of fat, 9 grams of saturated fat, 1,580 milligrams of sodium, 88 grams of carbs, 6 grams of sugar, and 21 grams of protein. That sodium number should jump out to anyone who has to watch blood pressure and cholesterol.
Why was it gone so long?
Taco Bell has not given some big dramatic reason for why the Triple Double Crunchwrap stayed away for years. The simple answer is likely that it was a limited-time item, and Taco Bell rotates those often. What we do know is that the item debuted in 2016 and was last on menus in 2019.
How to order it

The Triple Double Crunchwrap starts at $6.49 à la carte. It is also available in the $9 Discovery Luxe Box with a Doritos Locos Taco, Cheesy Bean & Rice Burrito, Cinnamon Twists, and a medium drink. Prices may vary by location and you can order via the store, app, and website.
