Step 1:
preheat oven to 190’degrees Step 2:
peel and cut apples into small chunks/slices Step 3:
put the apples in a suacepan with 1tbsp of water and add the granulated sugar Step 4:
cook over a low heat for about 5 mins until softens Step 5:
place the flour and oats in mixing bowl and cut the butter into small chunks mix all together takes a while, mix until its a crumble texture but can be squeezed together and sticks but crumbles again Step 6:
mix the caster sugar in well. place the apple chunks in an oven dish cover with the crumb mixture, bake for 20 mins until golden brown, serve with custard or on its own… yummy
