Bacon Pasta

Spicy Tomato sauce with chopped bacon

Ingredients

  • 6 rashers of Back Bacon
  • 2 tins of tinned tomatoes (400ml)
  • 1tbsp Tomato Puree
  • 1tbsp Tomato ketchup
  • 3/4 of a tsp Crushed Chilies
  • 400g Penne Pasta
  • Mixed Herbs

Instructions

  1. Cut the Bacon up into squares of the same size so that they cook at the same rate.

  2. Fry the bacon in a pan until golden brown.

  3. open the tinned tomatoes and pour then into the pan leave fr 2-3 minutes, then add the tomato puree and Ketchup stir into the tomatoes.

  4. Add the mixed herbs and chilies to the sauce and stir.

  5. Boil water in a pan. Bring it to the boil and add the pasta cook until it is sift and flexible.

  6. Pour the pasta into a colander to drain pasta.

  7. Put the pasta into the sauce and serve.
