baked apples

Ingredients

• serves 4
• 900g cooking apples, peeled, cored and cut into quarters
• 100g caster sugar
• 225g frozen berries of your choice
• ice cream/cream to serve if wanted

Instructions

STEP 1:

pre-heat oven to 200c

STEP 2:

put apples in a shallow oven dish

STEP 3:

sprinkle over sugar and stir so apples are well coated

STEP 4:

shake dish so apples are in a single layer

STEP 5:

bake in oven for 10 mins

STEP 6:

add the frozen fruit and return dish to the oven

STEP 7:

cook for a further 10-15 mins until apples are tender

STEP 8:

serve with cream/ice cream and enjoy!
