Ingredients

  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup Buttermilk
  • 2 large Egg Whites
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1/3 cup Unsweetened Cocoa
  • 1/4 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1 large, very ripe Banana
  • 1/4 cup low-fat Dry Milk Powder
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • A pinch of Salt

Instructions

  1. How to make Banana Brownie Cake:

  2. – Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Apply a coat of vegetable oil on a baking pan and dust it with flour.

  3. – In a bowl, make a batter out of flour, milk powder, salt and baking powder. In a blender or food processor, make a smooth puree of the banana, sugar, egg whites, vanilla essence and buttermilk.

  4. – Add the dry mixture of flour, milk powder and others to this batter and whip just until blended. Pour into the greased and dusted pan.

  5. – Bake until the cake passes the wooden pin or toothpick test. Cool it on a wire rack or tray.
