Ingredients

  • beans
  • mackerel
  • tomato sauce
  • onion
  • rosemary
  • cayenne pepper

Instructions

  1. This is really easy, cheap and healthy!

  2. * Roughly chop the onions and fry with the rosemary for 1-2 minutes.

  3. * Add the kidney beans (drained of the water).

  4. TIP: I prefer adding beans cooked in salty water, so I don’t have to add any salt.

  5. * Throw in the cayenne pepper powder, the Tomato sauce and the content of a tin of mackerel.

  6. * Simmer for 5 minutes.

  7. TIP: if you have it, serve this with chopped fresh parsley sprinkled on top.
