Beef and Broccoli Stir-Fry

Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • Cooked rice for serving

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine sliced beef, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Marinate for 10 minutes.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of oil and add the minced garlic and ginger. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add the broccoli florets and stir-fry for about 4-5 minutes until they are bright green and tender-crisp.
  5. Return the beef to the skillet and toss everything together. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until heated through. Serve over cooked rice.
