Step 1: 1. Put the mince and a small amount of oil in a frying pan. Once the meat has started to cook (ie changes colour) put in the onion, peppers and mushrooms. If you want to be healthyish put in water instead of extra oil to stop it sticking to the pan. Keep stirring until meat is cooked; and onions don’t look raw.
Step 3: 2. Tip the beans into a saucepan, add the contents of the frying pan. Follow instructions on tin for cooking beans (ie bring to boil and make sure they’re fully heated.) Add pepper and curry powder to taste, then stir.
Step 5: 3. Serve with toast, potato cakes or warm bread.
