Step 1: Heat a tiny bit of oil in a frying pan. Get it nice and hot (on my 6-heat electric one i use number 5) and pop in your sausages.
Step 2: cook them until they’re cooked all the way through. I usually leave them a little longer because a slightly burnt outside makes them so much better- but not too burnt!
Step 4: if you haven’t got any onion chutney then chop an onion (half will do) and pop it in the pan while you’re frying your sausages- you may want to add a little more oil so they don’t stick. When they’re burnt on the edges, they should be done.
Step 6: when your sausages are finished, cut the tomatoes in half and put them so that the cut sides faces up in the pan- they only need a few seconds to soften up and blacken on the bottom.
Step 8: spread a bit of chutney/put the fried onion on one half of your bread, put a bit of rocket/spinach on top, then your tomato halves and then slice your sausage lengthways and put on top.
Step 10: if you used an onion they you might want to add mustard or ketchup because it’ll be a little dry, but it should still be delicious!
