Step 1: 1. put your water stock, mustard and pepper into a big sauce pan and bring to the boil 2. now add your cabbage and your carrots boil until both are tender
Step 2: 3. next add your chopped ham this will cook in seconds so keep an eye on it!
Step 3: 4 now taste it?? taste good? yes take it off the heat. still tasting a bit watered down? add another stock cube to it and stir till dissolved
Step 4: 5. now give it a good stir add some more pepper to taste
Step 5: 6. serve with some ciabatta or french bread
