Ingredients

  • – 5 overripe cavendish bananas. Yes, use bananas that started going black and soft. If you have ripe, yellow banana, wait for 3-4 days.
  • -3 cups of flour
  • -1 cup of rice flour (optional, but for crispy cekodok, it’s recommended)
  • -sugar
  • -water
  • -1 tea spoon of baking soda

Instructions

  1. – smash all the bananas.

  2. – mix all the ingredients wait for 45-60 minutes on room temperature before you fry it.

  3. -take one table spoon dough and deep fry it. Malaysians love their cekodok to be dark brown, but if you prefer, you may cook it till golden brown instead.
