Cheap Mixed veg soup

Ingredients

  • 1 Bag of the cheapest frozen veg you can find (like ASDA’s own)
  • 1/2 pint of chicken or veg stock
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 2 slices of Bacon

Instructions

  1. Place bacon under the grill and cook to desired result

  2. Add 1/2 pint of chicken stock to a pan and bring to the boil

  3. Reduce the heat and add 2-3 handfulls of frozen veg and simmer for approx 6 mins

  4. Remove from heat and blend

  5. You will have a bright green soup which you can add sliced bacon sprinkled on top

  6. slap some butter on some bread and demolish!
