Step 1:
1) melt the butter in a saucepan until all liquid, take off the heat then add the marmite and mix together Step 2:
2) add all the dry ingredients into a bowl, then whisk the milk and egg together in a jug and slowly whisk into the bowl. Step 3:
3) once all the mixture is incorporated, whisk in the cooled butter & marmite and add the cheese and combine once more. Step 4:
4) heat a frying pan on a medium heat with a little oil (to prevent sticking) then add a ladel to the pan (you should beable to fit around 3 in a pan depending on the size) and allow to cook for 2-3 mins or until nice and golden underneath. Flip and cook for another 1-2 mins Step 5:
serve with a spread of butter or marmite if you like!
