Step 1:

  • Cook the macaroni in plenty of salted boiling water.
  • Step 2:

  • Chop the onion and fry in a pan with a teaspoon of oil.
  • Step 3:

  • Add the soup.
  • Step 4:

  • Stir continuously until heated through.
  • Step 5:

  • Add 3/4 of the cheese (or all of the cheese if you aren’t going to do the optional bit) and stir in until melted.
  • Step 6:

  • When macaroni is cooked, strain and add to the sauce. Stir round.
  • Step 7:

  • This is the optional bit. Put it into a cassarole dish and sprinkle on breadcrumbs and grated cheese. Pop in oven for 10 mins.
