Cheesy Chilli Tuna Pasta

Ingredients

  • Serves 4
  • 3 cloves crushed garlic
  • 1 Tin tuna in sunflower oil
  • 2 heaped tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 heaped tablespoon mixed herbs
  • Half teaspoon chilli flakes (adjust to taste and tolerance!)
  • 150g mature cheddar
  • 300g spaghetti
  • Salt and Pepper

Instructions

  1. 1) Boil salted water on the hob and cook pasta according to pack instructions

  2. 2) Meanwhile, drain oil from tuna tin into a frying pan. Fry garlic in the oil until glazed.

  3. 3) Add tuna to frying pan, fry for 5 minutes.

  4. 4) Stir in tomato paste, herbs, chilli and simmer until pasta is added

  5. 5) When pasta is ready, drain thouroughly and return to the pot. Stir in the sauce which should have been simmering for a few minutes.

  6. 6) Add cheese. As soon as it’s melted serve up

  7. YUM
