Chicken Adobo

Ingredients
- 1 whole chicken, chopped
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 1/3 cup water
- 1 medium sized onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 bay leaves
- 3-5 whole peppercorn
- 2 tbsp oil
- salt
- 2 large potatoes, cubes *(optional)
- 1/2 cup pineapple chunks *(optional)
- 1 tbsp sugar *(optional)
Instructions
1. Saute garlic and onion until brown. Mix in the chicken until it changes color.
2. Pour the soy sauce and water. Simmer for 5 minutes.
3. Add in potatoes, pineapple and sugar if desired.
4. Put in the bay leaves and peppercorn. Simmer for 10 minutes.
5. Add salt if still needed.
