4 Ingredient Apricot Chicken

Really easy, pretty delicious



  • 500g of chicken (thighs, breast, drumsticks, tenderloins - whatever you have!)
  • 2 x 40g packets of french onion soup mix
  • 1 x 825g tin of apricot halves in syrup (you can use nectar instead, but i personally like the pieces of apricot in the sauce - gives it some texture and makes the sauce nice and thick!)
  • Some flour to coat the chicken
  • Vegetables of your choice can also be added to the sauce, but I like to serve it with vegetables on the side


1. Coat the chicken pieces in flour and place in a greased baking dish

2. Combine the soup mix and the apricots (with the syrup) in a bowl, and pour over the chicken

3. Bake in the oven at 180°C (350°F) for 90 minutes

Serve with vegetables or rice
